No matter how much you ate yesterday, you still have to eat today. - Dee Gautham

It’s been a day of traveling today so no long caption. Instead I’m leaving you with a few mantras to repeat to yourself during this crazy time of the holiday season!
.
1. Overeating is a normal part of being a human. Our bodies are designed to regulate in times of plenty and scarcity. Restriction the next day will do nothing except make you hungrier and more likely to binge. Eat food. Be happy. The end.
.
2. If you’re around family don’t waste time trying to please everyone around you. Everyone is responsible for their own happiness (although this can sometimes be hard to believe in Indian / eastern cultures where families like to act like emotions are shared 🤷🏽‍♀️)
.
3. Practice radical acceptance of all hard people. Don’t try to change people – People will not change until the pain of staying the same outweighs the pain of making a change.
.
4. Other people’s opinions are not the truth. Take them as input. But ultimately you must believe for yourself what you want to be true.
.
Ya feel me?? Tell me below if these make sense 👇👇👇
